The rooms were just fine, and if you like church bells, you're in luck. The staff were so gracious and accommodating, even letting us check out late. We stayed three nights and will definitely come back in the spring. We had pranzo at the restaurant when we arrived, and it was very good. After finding Mannarino down the street, we ate the rest of our meals there. It's an incredible place.

On a side trip to Milan in May 2017, we stopped for lunch here. The food tasted great and was presented beautifully. We ate outside under a large canopy facing a garden.

After paying 120€, I got only an hour and a half in bed and a poor breakfast. I hope they usually take much better care of their guests. There was no word from reception, and they never replied to my email explaining what happened. My flight was a nightmare because bad weather closed Bergamo airport for several hours on 19/4/2023. I arrived at 23:45 instead of 19:15, and found the hotel door shut. I had to sleep in the rental car in the hotel parking lot. I woke up cold at 5:30am, waited outside, and finally a woman from the kitchen opened the door at 6:15. Then I managed to sleep for 1:30, have breakfast, and leave.

I haven't stayed here, so I can't comment on the rooms. But the times I've eaten here, I've been impressed by the food and service. The dishes are classic, and the staff are courteous. It's a classy place.
