Hotel Il Gentiluomo is one of Arezzo's best kept secrets, and a great value. The staff really make the place: they went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and make sure we had what we needed. Ilaria took such good care of us that we're still talking about her. We'll stay here many times in the future.

I picked this hotel mainly for its location. The rooms are okay, and the receptionist was polite and helpful. But don't eat at their restaurant. I booked for 20:30 and, as I'm writing this, I still haven't even ordered. I asked reception directly whether the waitress had a problem with me, since she was taking orders from other customers who arrived after me. I found that really disrespectful and unacceptable. It's okay if you just need somewhere near the highway to sleep, but eat before you get here!

The owners and staff were friendly and dedicated, and we had a great stay. They even arranged a performance with dancing for us, which made the visit more memorable.

There were lots of mosquitoes and bugs, and they bit us. The place was dirty, and my wife and son developed skin allergies. There was no air conditioning. When I asked staff for another room, they said there were none available. I didn't believe that, because I hadn't seen anyone else besides our group.
