Hotel Planet

The evening music and dancing arranged for tour groups was the only highlight of my two-night stay. The hotel is in a remote area and is old and poorly maintained. The shower cubicle was so cramped I couldn't turn around, and the water kept shifting from hot to cold and back, making showering a bitter experience. The flush tank's cover plate was lying on the floor.

Staff were nice, and the beds and sheets were clean. The showers were okay, with warm water, soap and fresh towels. The hotel is old and needs some renovation. I didn't pay for the stay, so I can't comment on the prices. Breakfast was cheap, but the coffee was really bad and served in plastic cups. The rooms have air conditioning, though you can't set it to extremes, either very cold or very warm.

The staff were helpful and tried to sort out problems. I had an issue with my bed, and they fixed it. The hotel was clean and set in a beautiful old town, so it's worth taking a walk before you leave. I was surprised to find that the whole hotel had just one iron. It was inconvenient with tons of people needing it. This was also my first hotel without readily available cutlery. At breakfast we had to use disposable spoons, forks and knives, which worried me because the hotel uses so many plastic products. The baker makes yummy croissants, but eggs came in just one option, which won't suit everyone. The breakfast buffet was really limited and basic. I do want to commend the staff for their good customer service.

The rooms are roomy, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was good too. There are lots of rooms, so they can host plenty of guests, and groups or people on agency tours may get a magic and dance show. The setting is quite remote, though, with very little to do nearby. Still, it was a satisfactory stay.
