I couldn't speak with the owner, who wasn't available. If this review keeps even one person from staying here, I'll feel I got a little back for the time and money I spent. My one-night room was awful: it smelled like an old, drunk smoker had died there. The sheets were clean, but the spring bed felt at least 10 years old and was terribly uncomfortable. The owners should spend a night in that room and ask themselves if they'd be happy paying for it.

The one drawback is the distance from the center, especially if you don't have a car. Apart from that, it's a good place to stay in Arezzo: the rooms are clean and cozy, the staff are nice, and breakfast is included and satisfying.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet, both around it and inside. Parking was a little awkward, though nothing too concerning. It was my first stay and a decent weekend stop. Since it's outside the city center, the rates are more affordable, while the center is right there for a visit. I'd recommend it to anyone heading to Arezzo.

Getting into the historic center takes about half an hour on foot, or you can take a bus along one of Arezzo's main streets, near the train station. The location is convenient despite being outside the center. The place is a little dated, but clean, peaceful, and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Mrs. Anika and the breakfast guy, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. I'll definitely return.
