I was left without anywhere to stay after the owner hung up on me. We had agreed over the phone on a price and check-in time after I found the place on Booking and called to book directly. He later messaged a different price, though we eventually settled on one. I called 30 minutes before arriving as agreed, and he was extremely rude, saying I was too early to check in. When I said I was unhappy about yet another disagreement and his attitude, he said goodbye and ended the call. I travel all over Italy twice a month and have never had an experience this awful. I've never left a negative review before, but felt I had to share this. Never again!

The area around the place is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. The interior is lovely, with a wonderful mix of old and new styles. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back for a longer stay as soon as we can.
