Hotel Minerva

I can easily walk from here to the city centre, and the restaurant downstairs is top notch. It's a great choice for my business trips to Arezzo, with very friendly staff and a very clean hotel. The bathrooms are a bit small and look a little dated, though.

The rooms were tiny, the shower was less than 1 sqm, and noise came straight through the walls. The hotel felt like going back to the 70s and urgently needs renovation. It was also understaffed, and nobody seemed happy to work there. I never got a smile. It doesn't deserve 4 stars, maybe 3 at best. For what it offers, it was extremely expensive. I'll never go back. If Arezzo had more competition, I think this hotel would quickly go out of business.

For my work meeting in October, I spent a few nights here. It was easy to reach by car, quiet, and away from the city centre. My room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and had a large, clean bathroom. Breakfast had a good range of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Getting from the parking area to reception means taking stairs, with no elevator, which is awkward with heavy luggage. The hall's style still feels stuck in the 1980s, and the elevator itself is small and slow. Still, it was a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The Wi-Fi was a bit of a problem when I needed to work from the hotel. Getting connected could be simpler, and I had some trouble using the internet access. Thanks.
