Residenza Fra Le Torri

Maurizio kindly drove us to and from the garage, and gave us a brief but thorough account of the city’s history, along with tips for places to see and restaurants. We were so pleased with our stay at Residenza Fra le Torri, and will choose it again next time we visit Arezzo. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a great little patio. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the main sights and squares. We also loved the decor, which mixes local artists’ original work with antiques, and there were loads of leaflets and books about the city and nearby area.

Maurizio was an ideal host, attentive and welcoming, very helpful, and incredibly quick to reply to texts or emails. He’s clearly proud of his city, and rightly so. The apartment is stunning, spotless, and spacious, with quality furnishings and fixtures. The artwork on the walls gave the place a personal touch. It has everything a traveler could need, from an ironing board to books. I wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to return.

Maurizio was attentive and helpful, and went out of his way to make us feel at home and comfortable. The location was perfect for getting to whatever we wanted to see or do in Arezzo. The apartment was clean and high quality throughout, with an authentic, well-executed design, tasteful decor and cool antiques, plus wonderful bedding.

We loved both Arezzo and the Residenza, and it’s hard to imagine a better place to stay. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped. Maurizio was a wonderful host, picking us up at the railway station and staying available for advice and anything else we needed. The Residenza sits in a quiet alley near the main square. Historic sights and restaurants are easy to reach on foot, and the station is about a 10-minute walk away. It’s a great base for holidays in Tuscany, especially if you like authentic Italy and cultural and historic places with little mass tourism.
