Sugar was a highlight of our two days in Arezzo. The building and rooms were lovely, and Riccardo and his bar team made the service feel personal and excellent. The location was great too. We also loved the fashion shop Sugar, with a fantastic selection. We’d happily return. Thanks so much, Simone and Harald.

We spent one night at Sugar Rooms in Arezzo and had a wonderful stay. The rooms have a distinctive, interesting design, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Marco was very kind and shared useful information that helped make everything perfect. Highly recommended!

Marco made us feel so welcome, and his care for guests clearly carries through to the staff. He’s conscientious and professional, and it felt like staying at a friend’s amazing villa rather than in a hotel. Such a wonderful experience. I hope to repeat it next time I’m in Arezzo.

The location in old Arezzo was beautiful, with the station, shops, cafes, and restaurants all close by. Our room was amazing, especially the super comfortable king bed and large ensuite. Marco and the friendly staff made us feel extremely welcome. One of the loveliest places we stayed on our trip. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

The breakfast was amazing, with tasty savory options, fresh pastries, and perfect coffee. We also enjoyed the Roman floor and afternoon aperitifs in the courtyard. Sugar opened in early 2024 in a renovated Palace in central Arezzo, and the large rooms have a high-end designer feel. The bathrooms were the best we’ve seen in Europe, and getting around was easy by elevator or the extra-wide stairs. The staff were delightful and made the place feel like family. What a fabulous experience, a must.
