The pool, whirlpool, pizza oven, and well-equipped kitchen were real highlights, and the house sits in a beautiful spot among olive groves in the Arezzo hills. The house itself has charm, but it feels uncared for: flower pots are worn out, and the website photos seem to show how it looked three or four years ago. Furnishings are rather old, especially the uncomfortable bed for the child. The fuse sometimes blew when the air conditioning and showers were running. It also wasn't very clean, despite the high final cleaning charge. The whirlpool didn't feel very fresh, and the barbecue was dirty.

The pool and jacuzzi are fantastic, and the garden pizza oven is great too. The view is amazing, and the spacious house has cozy furniture. Still, it seems somewhat neglected and could have been cleaner given the high price. The bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms were clean, which was the main thing.

The pool and location help make up for the dated furniture and clutter. Equipment is left all over the house, so it feels crowded. It's a typical Tuscan home, but there are more modern and tidier places around now. On the plus side, it's spacious and has a nice view.

We expected more from the house. It had a musty smell and didn't feel welcoming. Thankfully the weather was good, so we stayed outdoors most of the time and only went inside to cook or sleep.
