The kids had a blast staying in a castle, and we all had a wonderful time. The countryside was beautiful and relaxing. We took a bottle of wine up to the terrace and enjoyed the view. Breakfast was outstanding too. Thank you!

This is exactly the kind of special place we hoped to find on our trip from the US to Italy. The hotel is one of the most amazing we've ever seen, with well-appointed rooms and an old structure that's a lot of fun to explore. The food was amazing and the staff were just as good. It's a bit out of the way, but absolutely worth the trip.

Peace and relaxation are the focus here, and the attentive staff make it easy to unwind. There's also a spa and a rooftop terrace with views across the Piedmont countryside. Set in a pleasant little town, the 13th-century military outpost still shows its age in the walls, about 2.5 meters deep. It has been updated for modern comforts while keeping its character. The custom furniture and sourced original materials add to the medieval atmosphere, and the care in the details is clear. The bed is very comfortable, the bathrooms are top notch, and every room has strong Wi-Fi and even Netflix. A lovely spot to decompress and be pampered.

We came away feeling we'd found a real gem for hospitality, and we'll definitely return when we're back from England. Our romantic dinner was perfect, and we're grateful to Luca, Elsa, and the whole team. Elsa's husband Luca was a gentleman, and the owners, Luca and Elsa, have restored the beautiful castle with great care and spared no expense. As the son of a historian and archaeologist, I was fascinated by all the details. My partner and I visited on the 3rd of December, and the highlight came after dinner when Elsa gave us a full tour in perfect English. Her warmth, kindness, and knowledge of the castle and its history impressed us both. We were first welcomed by a gracious hostess, who made us feel very welcome. Madalina then helped us choose from the wine menu. I picked a Barbera, and we looked over the creative food menu. I'm half Italian and fluent in Italian, but my partner isn't. When I asked for help, kitchen staff member Emiro came out and patiently explained the whole menu to her in fluent English. It was hard to choose because we wanted to try everything. Chef Sgrò and his team cooked our dishes perfectly, and Madalina served them delicately and with careful timing. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We both know fine dining in the UK and abroad, and this place is certainly up to Michelin Star standards, perhaps more. They host private events, including weddings and business conferences. I'd recommend staying in a room and taking time to relax in their very exclusive medieval spa. It's definitely worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful visit.
