Le Stanze Di Alicam

I was misled by the positive reviews on Booking.com when I chose this property for relatives to stay the night before my wedding. I had booked about ten properties in the same city for those dates, and this problem happened only here. At 1 a.m., my guest checked in and found the floor flooded and an embarrassing amount of old mold. It looked like a clear sign that maintenance had been neglected for a long time. The room was uninhabitable due to the sanitary conditions, so the stay was impossible and a report was needed. I’ll take care of that. My guest has asthma, so I urgently moved them to another property. I was ashamed when I got the news. Having to sort all this out at 2 a.m., with a 5:30 wake-up because I was getting married, was awful. The management's recklessness ruined what should have been the best day of my life. The most disappointing part was the owner's response, or whoever was acting for her. She refused even a partial refund, arrogantly and without shame, saying she'd offered a hotel. This property shouldn't have been rented in that condition. I intend to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities and seek compensation for damages as well as a full refund. In all my years booking on Booking.com, I've never seen anything like it.

The rooms were pleasant and clean, and having private parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a little limited, though some local products could improve it. Still, a positive experience and I’d recommend it.

There’s indoor parking right beside the apartments, and the center of Arona is about a 10-minute walk away. The host is very kind and helpful. We found comfortable beds, a small kitchen with everything needed for breakfast, and a bathroom with a large shower. Very welcoming, highly recommended.

The owners were very kind, and there was real care in the details, showing how much they value their guests. The small apartment is beautiful and clean, with calming white and gray colors. It’s on the quiet outskirts of the city, with its own parking space and a gated parking area. Breakfast and the amenities were excellent and generous, including four kinds of homemade desserts. Highly recommended!
