The rooms are spotless, lovely, and look out over a breathtaking view. The property itself is beautiful and carefully kept up. The owners were the kindest, most helpful people I’ve ever met. Anyone running a business that serves the public could learn from them. If you’re in the Arsoli hills, it’s worth stopping for the night!

The St. Peter the Hermit trail stays mostly under forest shade, though the scenery along it isn’t especially striking.
I had some really great weeks there at MACCHIE. They’re genuinely kind and good people, and the morning breakfast is truly spectacular, Swiss, as I put it. They also have a beautiful Labrador named LINDA. W I DOGS
The terrace off the room had a lovely view, and the owners were so kind and friendly. It’s a peaceful little oasis up in the mountains. I’ll definitely come back.
