B&B l'Asinello Rampante

Guido made our weekend feel like home, and he's a great drinking companion too. He's attentive, friendly, and full of local knowledge. The shared kitchen had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook or just sit and chat. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the setting was lovely, with donkeys, chickens, geese, and cats around. B&B L'Asinello Rampante is well placed for exploring and getting away from the crowds. The handmade wooden furnishings, made by the owner, gave the room and shared spaces a particularly warm, welcoming feel. The B&B itself is charming, tucked among woods and mountains, and it's a lovely base for exploring Carnia's villages and mountain scenery. Guido and Luisa welcomed us so warmly that we felt like part of the family. We definitely plan to come back.

The location is enchanting, and I felt at home straight away thanks to Guido and his wonderful wife. For me, real luxury means being close to nature and away from the crowds, in an AUTHENTIC mountain cabin, not an artificial one made for tourists. Here I was welcomed by special people who are impossible not to grow fond of. I left a piece of my heart here. A magical experience, highly recommended for anyone who feels the same way.

We came as a family and spent a few days in this beautiful, peaceful place. My daughter was delighted to stay here, and Guido and Luisa's welcome made us feel like family. It's also ideally located for discovering Carnia's mountains and villages. We'll be back.
