Residence Artemis

The private beach makes it easy to relax, and the shuttle has come in handy more than once. We travel as a large group and have returned to Residence Artemis for several years because we always feel looked after. Staff are welcoming, professional, and very helpful. Our rooms have been clean and maintained, the pool tidy, and the sports fields are good for having fun together. The entertainment is well organized and enjoyable for everyone. We've always had a very positive experience.

The volleyball court was the one decent part of the resort, and it was reasonably well kept. Everything else made for a disastrous stay: the pool looked like a biology lab, food arrived late and was usually too little, and some breakfast fruit was already rotten. There was mold in the kitchen, damage to some windows, doors, and beds, and the showers seemed to be held together with hot glue. With three stars posted at the entrance, you'd expect three warnings from the health authorities.

For our large group, it matters that we feel cared for, and the staff here are always courteous and ready to help with a smile, even on little things. That's why Residence Artemis has been our regular choice for three years. The private beach is handy and well equipped for relaxing, and the shuttle adds convenience. Rooms are clean and tidy, the pool and playgrounds are maintained, and the entertainment is carefully organized. Each stay has confirmed our choice.

The drive here is really nice. The hotel itself is a different story. The pool looked like an experiment for biologists, an unidentifiable green, with the feeling something might crawl out at any second. Caps were required, presumably to keep your hair away from the algae. The room was rundown and stuffy, with peeling walls, broken furniture, and a smell of mildew, cellar, and some animal you wouldn't want to identify. Dinner might have made Indiana Jones grab his whip and flee. Pasta was barely cooked, the supposed meat had the texture of recycled rubber, and the dry, stale bread seemed older than our stay. The food was inedible. If exploring abandoned buildings and having a survival experience sounds fun, this place may suit you. Everyone else should run, and run fast.
