Agriturismo Casanova

We got married nearby and Vicky was so generous with her help, taking in packages and even offering to help us sort the wedding bar. She really starts to feel like a friend. The setting is stunning, and everything was very clean. We stayed somewhere else for the wedding and afterwards, but wished we'd stayed with Vicky. Breakfast was unbelievable, delicious and so generous. She even brought out extra cheese for my vegetarian husband. It's one of the few places we've visited and already hope to come back to. She also offers meals, though we didn't get to try them.

On our second visit, this agriturismo somehow seemed even better. Wiebke is such a welcoming host, and we loved chatting with her. The homemade dinner, made with food from the farm, is a must. There was lots of space to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views, and we spent a relaxing day by the pool. It was handy to have a Conad close by for groceries to make lunch at home. We hope to return soon, and we'll recommend the agriturismo to family and friends.

Vicky was a fantastic host, and the place is easy enough to reach by car from Asciano. We had an apartment for 4 people. It wasn't especially spacious or rustic, but it was clean. Unexpected cold weather meant we couldn't use the pool, though it looked beautiful and very clean. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, with ingredients from the agriturismo itself or nearby farms and wineries. Bartolo gave us a quick tour of the farm, and his knowledge and passion for Chianina really came through. It was a memorable stay and we'd happily return. Thanks again, Vicky, for the warm welcome!

We stayed for a week in June 2023, and Vicky made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She was wonderful, helping us find things to do around the region and book dinner reservations. She also cooked two incredible four course meals for us. The building, room, grounds, and gorgeous pool gave us all the Tuscan vibes, and I couldn't stop looking at the views. We had an amazing time and would love to come back one day. Vicky, thanks again for making it so special!
