It’s a one-minute walk to Piazza Arringo and three minutes to Piazza del Popolo. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with air conditioning or fans in every room and good soundproofing. The staff were friendly and available to help with any request.

The room looked welcoming and comfortable at first, but the B&B was undergoing major renovations and no one had told us. Before 8:00 a.m., workers were right outside our window, making so much noise that we had to leave the room quickly. The owners didn’t mention the renovation work and didn’t help us deal with the disruption. The bathroom raised concerns too: it has a window, but it looks onto the boiler room.

The managers were very welcoming, and the location was good. The rooms were decent, but I found the bathroom smelly, and it had no extractor fan.

The B&B’s central location was the good part. The room was less satisfactory: I’d asked for a bathroom in the room, but when I opened the window, I found myself looking into a small, enclosed washroom.

We found it clean and spacious, with a kitchen available, though we didn’t use it. The kindness and helpfulness were great, and the location near the historic center is priceless. If I come back to Ascoli Piceno, I’d definitely stay here again.
