I found the place and the whole arrival really frightening. When I asked about parking, he told me to go outside and find a spot. He also said that if I didn't return with my passport in a minute, he'd go back to his flat and sleep. This isn't a hotel, it's an old man renting out one room in awful conditions. He even tells you where to sit for breakfast. When I spoke English, he said no, I was in Italy and had to speak Italian. Staying here felt like being in a scary movie. I'm going to sue Booking.com over having this immoral old man listed.

The location worked really well for visiting Milan, with the metro and Assago Forum both about a five-minute walk away, and a huge shopping centre close by. Mr. Pino was welcoming and helpful. Our place felt like a proper apartment, with a big bathroom, roomy living area, and a large, well-finished bedroom. There were TVs in both rooms, plus a kitchenette with a kettle, herbal teas, and a small fridge. Breakfast is served downstairs in Mr. Pino's house, reached by an internal staircase. There was hot milk, fresh fruit, toast, packaged pastries, yogurt, jam, butter, and Nutella. Plenty to choose from. I'd recommend it.

Breakfast was served in the owner's kitchen, reached from our apartment by a wooden spiral staircase. There were eggs, croissants, biscuits, and toast, though the food was industrial and served in its packaging, including Bauli cornetti, and some of it wasn't great quality. The host was helpful but gave us space, serving hot drinks and then leaving us to eat alone. The B&B consists of two separate apartments, and ours was a very large, extremely clean attic with everything we could need. The building and residential complex are elegant, the area is quiet, and parking was easy. It's also handy for the city centre and within walking distance of the Forum. The Milanese owner is a gentleman. Just be aware that attic sleeping may take some getting used to, with a little light through the skylights and noise when it rains.
