The location is great for exploring Assisi, and the place worked for a night or two. The room felt very plain and dated, and I doubt the Booking.com photos are recent. The bathroom was cramped, with an awkward shower right in front of the toilet and no curtain or enclosure. I wouldn’t stay longer.

The view of the Cathedral of San Rufino was breathtaking, and the price felt like good value. This centrally located guesthouse is an easy walk from the main square, with the Basilica of San Francesco and the Basilica of Santa Chiara about 500 meters away. The rooms are basic, but they suited my short visit to Assisi.

Although it’s well placed for reaching the city center, the room is cramped, dated, and barely lit. The bathroom’s fixtures are very old and need a complete overhaul. For the high price, I’d recommend renovating the place.

The room was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed, in a restored, elegant Assisi building that’s been kept in lovely condition. The shower was the one drawback. Even in high season, the owner welcomed us warmly, showed us to the room, and quickly shared useful tips on parking, when to visit, and where to eat. Excellent value for the location. THANK YOU!

The rooms were welcoming and well equipped, and from the property there are lovely panoramic views over Piazza San Rufino and its Cathedral. It’s also just steps from the Basilica of San Francesco. There’s no kitchen, and breakfast isn’t included. The price was average, and it suits a night or weekend stay.
