Nicole on the food staff did a great job looking after us. Without her, I’d give this half a star. The WiFi was unbelievably poor, and when I raised it, the man at the desk said, “Sorry we are not in the city.” I’m leaving as soon as daylight breaks. Don’t waste your money here. There are other hotels nearby, and this place needs a complete renovation.

This was our second visit to Assisi, and staying here made the trip feel especially memorable. The location is great, about an 11-minute walk from the center, which helps since parking there is a real problem. The hotel is simple, with no fridge in the room, for instance, but we loved it. The staff were really nice and proactive, and gave us lovely advice. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The Basilica of Saint Francis, Assisi’s main attraction, is right by the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay: the staff were lovely, the food was excellent, and our room was very clean. Absolutely wonderful. I’d recommend staying here and plan to come back next year.

A full tour bus of kids arrived soon after we did, and the hotel became loud and chaotic. It didn’t feel like the peaceful, quiet place it was advertised to be.

A simple, clean place to stay, with an amazing dinner menu in the restaurant every day.
