The house and its big garden made a lovely base for exploring Assisi, Perugia, and the charming towns nearby. We ate outside a few times and really enjoyed that. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the owners were kind, shared local suggestions, and made us feel at home. I’d happily stay at B&B La Giara again.

A quiet, romantic spot with rustic but comfortable rooms, and a handy base for getting to Assisi. We were close to the hospital, where you can park for free, which is useful if you’re driving. The hostess was courteous and welcoming, and gave us good ideas for places to eat. We’d come back here on our next Assisi weekend.

The countryside around the B&B is lovely and peaceful, and the cats are part of the warm welcome too. Breakfast was excellent. The owners were so open, kind, and helpful, and we really valued the time we got to share with them. 🙏🏻 Highly recommended! 🤩👍🏻🤩👍🏻🤩👍🏻

Our room was clean and neat, with an antechamber and small sitting room, plus a bedroom and bathroom. The farmhouse has a rustic feel and sits in a quiet big garden, where we met a rooster and a very cuddly cat. The owners were helpful and kind, and made us feel right at home during our weekend. We had a positive stay and would do it again.

I’ve been coming here since 2008, and it still feels like home. The owners are always kind and ready to help, and you end up feeling more like a friend than a guest. It’s a clean, well-run, newer place surrounded by greenery, and its location makes it a great base for Umbria. Greetings from Salerno, I highly recommend it.
