The breakfast was amazing, and the house has a lovely big backyard with friendly, beautiful cats and picnic tables. Filippo and his family took great care of us, and Filippo is one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Our room was so quiet we couldn’t hear anyone else, and the view from the window was amazing. Assisi is about 20 minutes away by bus. We highly recommend it!

That view over the plain is breathtaking, and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee brewed fresh. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and clean. The owners are kind and glad to help with advice on parking and things to do. It’s just outside Assisi, so walking there isn’t easy, but by car it’s a five-minute drive to the free parking outside Porta dei Cappuccini. A good spot to come back to in the evening and rest after visiting Assisi.

We had a generous breakfast, including cakes Rosanna made herself, and everything was very clean. Set among olive groves, the place is quiet and has a Franciscan feel. It’s about 200 meters from the road to Assisi, making it a good spot for exploring different destinations. Filippo, the owner, says it’s quiet and Franciscan, and he and his wife Rosanna quickly made us feel at home. We’ll come back if we get the chance.
