We'd planned on staying for a week, but a cancelled flight meant coming back and needing a few extra days. The hotel helped without hesitation and gave us our room back. Everyone was very friendly, and our pretty room was cleaned every day. There was always someone around when we needed help. Carlo deserves a special mention for his great Negroni Cocktails. We really enjoyed the food and the breakfast buffet, and both the dining room and breakfast area look out over the city of Assisi. 10/10, would recommend.

We chose this hotel for our first wedding anniversary, hoping to enjoy a nice stay, but we were deeply disappointed and regret going. We felt we were treated as thieves, and money was taken from our bank account without our knowledge or consent. There was also more than €20 added to our dinner bill, and we don't know what it was for. The day after we checked out, they told us a kettle was missing from the room after we'd left and that they'd taken €40 from our account. We hadn't taken anything, and we had no way of knowing who'd been in the room during the 24 hours since checkout. We were accused of theft, but we feel the hotel robbed us. It's a scandal. Trying to sort this out by email was pointless. They used our sensitive data and don't want to admit what happened. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst hotel in Italy!!!

From outside, the place looks a little unassuming, but the rooms and interiors were fantastic. The view of Assisi from the restaurant at sunset was the standout. Truly stunning, and pictures don't do it justice.
