Perfetta Letizia Casa Vacanza

Maria was a wonderful host, quick to reply and full of useful information. She even helped me reserve a restaurant because my Italian wasn’t very good. We booked this lovely apartment for one night after deciding at the last minute to visit Assisi. It’s perfectly placed in the old town, close to the attractions, shops, and restaurants, and within walking distance of the main parking area in Piazza Matteotti. The apartment has air conditioning and is beautifully restored, preserving some original features while providing the modern facilities you need. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A real hidden gem!

We parked just up the road, which worked great, and walked everywhere from this spot on the edge of the city. It was a magical stay in a wonderful town, and the place itself was so quiet and peaceful. We hope to come back to Assisi and stay longer.

I’d live in this fantastic apartment forever if I could! It’s on a quiet edge of Assisi, just a short hike down from the Rocca Maggiore. Maria Letizia was a perfect hostess, communicating and taking care of our needs so well that she’s become a new friend, even though I never actually met her.

The flat has been beautifully modernised, but still feels like something out of a fairytale, and it was wonderful to be right inside Assisi. There was thoughtful attention to detail: the heating had been adjusted for us, discount cards were left on the table, and we had shampoo, sugar, and coffee, plus books to read, including a reproduction of the Visconti book of hours. All those little things that rental places often forget were carefully provided. 👏🏻❤️
