Francesco deserves a special mention. The staff were friendly and kept checking that our stay was going well. The chef and kitchen were excellent too, helping us choose a meal and wine we’d enjoy. We especially liked the wines from their vineyard, which went nicely with dinner. Beautiful surroundings, and we hope to come back.

We came back with friends for dinner and an overnight stay so we could enjoy the hospitality for longer. We had lovely rooms and felt rather spoiled, since we could step straight out of ours to the pool. Francesco looked after us from the moment we arrived and made sure the whole evening went smoothly. After a good night’s sleep in comfortable beds, we bought some superb wines and left already planning to return to this gem in Piemonte. Arrivederci! I’d first visited Cascina Desderi a few years ago with Hagestad Touring on a wine tour in Italy. Back then, the warm welcome, wine tasting, delicious lunch, pool and chance to buy their wines had all made an impression.

Really nice hotel, with big rooms and a cozy interior that has an old-fashioned feel. Definitely worth stopping for a night!

We were there for a few days on a family trip, and I think we got through most of the wine. The area is stunning, and the service was amazing.
