B&B Il Vecchio Frantoio

Everything was so well organised, and the place was lovely and extremely clean. The owners were kind and helpful, too. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

The pool was a good size and easy to access, and the accommodation was comfortable, spotless, and well equipped. Pluto, their very cute dog, was a bonus 🐶. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful place to stay in Sicily, I’d absolutely recommend it ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The first morning started with fresh croissants brought to our door, which went perfectly with the breakfast already laid out for us. The room had comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, and plenty of coffee and tea, with everything ready for a help-yourself breakfast. It had the rustic feel of a farm stay but also all the modern comforts. We arrived early and were welcomed into the family dining room for lunch, a good glass of wine, homemade limoncello, and farm-marinated olives. A perfect welcome from Andrea on her farm. Once through the electric gate, the drive past olive trees and tractors felt like arriving in paradise, quite a change from the neglected roads and industrial-looking area near the motorway. The room was clean, and we can’t recommend the place enough. The photos look good, but seeing it for yourself is even better.

The children were thrilled by the friendly mule and horse, and the ostriches were a fun surprise. The play area kept my two young kids happy, and the grounds, with their citrus groves, mature olive trees, lovely landscaping, and view of Mt Etna, made for a peaceful setting. Ottavio, Elena, Manuele and the rest of the family were exceptionally kind and accommodating to us. Our apartment was in good condition and very nice, with kitchens and bedrooms that looked even better than the photos. Everything was very clean, and the experience felt like great value.
