The setting is incredibly peaceful, with very little nearby and mostly locals around, so renting a car may make the stay easier. We went in September, and the beach was clean, with clear water. The volcano in the distance was stunning, and at night Catania lights up across the gulf. Those views will be hard to forget. The staff were warm and helpful the whole time. Special thanks to Carmela and Ines, both so lovely. We were there with family and had an amazing stay. The restaurant food was fantastic, with lots of fresh fish, and the caponata with tuna was irresistible. Breakfast was included in the price and was proper Sicilian fare: almond granita and fresh pastries served right on the beach. That’s the dolce vita, unlike the sad continental breakfasts so many hotels serve. We’ll definitely come back!

We ate at their beach restaurant twice. The food was good, and the staff there were lovely too. The hotel is small and nicely located, and everyone on staff was very kind.

The staff were wonderful, and for one night this local place is great value for the price. The room was simple and nice, and breakfast by the beach felt very local. Check-out is at 10:30. The restaurant does very good pizzas and pizzolis. The one downside was hearing the neighbors at 7am.

It felt like a bad motel to me. The service and food were awful. The place is out in the middle of nowhere, near a long beach that was full of rubbish. The stretch closest to the hotel also had water covered in very green plastic, so we had to walk quite a way to swim.

A real hidden gem in Sicily. It was very clean and the service was excellent. Go hungry if you visit their restaurant, the food was so good. I’ve eaten at plenty of well-known places around Sicily, but never had food this good.
