The owners were hospitable and always ready to help. The place was pleasant, very clean, and stocked with what we needed for a week. The beach, which was clean, is 400 m away. Cameras provided extra security.

The only thing we missed was a restaurant or bar nearby. Otherwise, this is a lovely, peaceful holiday home, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. It was almost empty there in the off-season, and Mount Etna can be seen from the shore. We were told that sea turtles nest off the coast of Catania in summer, which is a spectacular sight. Every morning a baker's van comes by with bread and treats. The owner was helpful and cheerful, and we felt very comfortable. Everything was provided, even water and pasta for our first day, and check-in could be arranged flexibly by appointment. The house isn't equipped for babies or small children, though that wasn't an issue for us. Older kids have lots of room to play outside, and the friendly neighbors didn't mind their noise. Highly recommended if, like us, you enjoy peace and quiet.

We had a great vacation here from June 27th to July 16th. The apartment was excellent, the people were great, and the area is beautiful, just a few meters from the beach. Mount Etna was always in view. I'd happily return if I get the chance. Highly recommended. 👍🙂
