Albergo Vecellio was a very pleasant, cozy place to stay while we travelled around Dolomites. We needed somewhere at the last minute, and the price was among the best we could find in the region at the start of the summer season. We liked it so much that we stayed a few days longer than planned. The family owners, the woman and her husband, were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, and after our hikes each day we came back to three clean towels in different sizes for every guest, neatly made beds, and even some of our things gently tidied up. It felt like an Italian mama was looking after us. They can’t do laundry at the hotel, but there’s a good, quick laundry service in town not too far away, so that wasn’t a problem. Definitely recommend!

We arrived by bike in the afternoon and were able to leave the bikes outside the hostel. At night, they brought them indoors for us. The service was more than fine, and everyone was very kind. It was a fantastic experience.

The rooms have an old-fashioned style, but they were very clean. It’s a good place to stay, with a generous breakfast and really tasty coffee.
