Hotel Lavaredo

The location, cleanliness, and staff were the things I liked most. The staff were kind and helpful, and as far as I remember, they spoke Italian, German, and English. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, even if it didn’t look especially rich at first glance. The rooms mix old and new furniture nicely. Some sofas may look worn, but they’re actually in great condition and give the rooms a distinctive feel. One thing to keep in mind: noise from neighboring rooms can carry if the people there are loud.

We found the rooms and beds very comfortable, with lovely scenery, a good breakfast, and a fair price. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The hotel isn’t technically wheelchair accessible, but the manager was very helpful in finding a solution for us. Highly recommended.

It’s a friendly family-run place, and the staff are adorable. Most rooms look out over the lake, and the beds are huge, though the shower cabin is too small. Breakfast and dinner are abundant, with delicious pasta dishes, soups, meats, and desserts. There’s a ski lift within walking distance, and Cortina is about a half-hour drive away.

The staff were so kind. We had to leave very early, and she thoughtfully put together fruit, sandwiches, and water for our breakfast. Such a sweet gesture. The location is the best.
