We love dogs and were walking ours on a leash when a large farm dog came running at us, barking with its teeth bared. It was loose and highly aggressive. We’d set out to hike the officially marked trail that crosses the road beside the farm, but we had to run away and turn back. This feels irresponsible and could be very dangerous for older people or anyone with children. There are signs saying “Enter at your own risk” and “Beware of the dog,” but this situation on an officially marked hiking trail is absolutely unacceptable!

There’s a very aggressive, untrained dog on the property that threatens people walking there, and the owners are nowhere to be seen. A warning sign doesn’t solve the problem when the official hiking trail runs through the property and there’s no alternative route.

We love hiking and dogs, but this inn's dog was aggressive and clearly untrained, standing in the way of both the road and the trailhead. Nobody picked up when we called, so we turned around and left feeling disappointed and unhappy.

The apartments are really lovely, and the riding lessons were very good too. The Haflingers are well-trained, and gentle with children.
