I only stayed a couple of days, so the small room worked fine for me. The building is older, but the heating kept it warm in winter. It has a ranch-like feel, with lots of animals you can go for a short walk to see. Set just outside the city, it’s far enough out that the stars are a little easier to see. If you’ll arrive late, keep in touch with management.

The staff were friendly, and I liked the restaurant’s charming country-house atmosphere. The meal itself was disappointing for the price, which felt a bit high. It’s hearty home-style food, the sort of meat, potatoes, and beans meal I’d expect, but everything tasted bland. My husband’s ribs seemed overcooked, and the chicken I ordered looked suspiciously pink in the middle. The place reminded me of my home back in Nebraska.

This is about the restaurant, not the hotel. The menu was very short, just two pages on paper about 8 inches in size, and didn’t give much information. There wasn’t much variety, and the food quality wasn’t good either.
