Mirela makes lovely designs in the cappuccino foam, and she and Jonathan gave us tips on places to eat and see. Breakfast had lots of good options, and the coffee was delicious. On Tuesdays, there’s a market in the town square, just a five-minute walk away. We’d definitely stay here again. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the owner even showed us to our room. He also pointed out the cold water station, with both still and sparkling water. The hotel is handy for town. The rooms are a little dated, and the mattresses were hard, but the place is well cared for, especially considering it was built in the 1970s. Someone had complained that the hotel was warm. Hotels and businesses in Italy seem warmer than what Americans are used to. We’re from Florida, so with the air conditioner on, we knew to keep the windows closed.

Nothing fancy, but the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was simple and lovely, and the service was friendly.

I was happy with my stay. Lorenzo and Jonathan were very accommodating and gave me good ideas for places to see and things to do. The whole staff was very nice.

Checking in was easy, but checking out was the complete opposite. Allow an extra 30 minutes per person for checkout. The hotel also smelled of cigarette smoke in most areas, including the towels changed in the rooms each day. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I visited Italy with my son, my mom, and my uncle, and Palace Hotel was very clean. The hotel keeper was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were kept clean. Breakfast and coffee were awesome. I hope to visit again soon with my husband, and I’ll stay at the palace hotel.
