The location is pleasant and the view is decent, but the rooms are very basic and the Wi-Fi was unusable. We probably wouldn't come back.

I had a very uncomfortable evening here as a solo traveler with my little dog. I’d booked both a room and a restaurant table several days ahead, but when I arrived for dinner they wouldn’t seat me in the dining room. Instead, I was put by myself in the bar area, which felt pretty miserable. Two waitresses said the dining room was full when I asked to move, even though I could see empty tables. I was close to going without dinner when someone I believe was the restaurant manager kindly found me a place in the dining room. Since I’d booked before many of the other guests, I can only assume they don’t like single guests and treat them as second-class customers. If they don’t want solo guests, they shouldn’t accept the booking in the first place. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to people traveling alone.

The restaurant deserves praise too: the food was excellent, the staff were kind and attentive, and they took special care with needs like allergies. The rooms were clean, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely place to gather and enjoy the quiet and colors.
