The view from the breakfast room, the pool and really the whole property is amazing. We enjoyed our stay, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was huge, so there’s no need to worry about having enough. I liked the fresh fruit, though there was also meat, cheese and bread that wasn’t especially fresh. As a vegetarian, I’d suggest letting them know beforehand so maybe they can leave out the meat. There aren’t many restaurants close by. They recommended an agriturismo, but honestly we didn’t like it much, and although they said we could walk there, I wouldn’t recommend walking. If I came back, I’d look at dinner options in Avola instead.

Fabio was helpful with excursions and restaurants, and the pool is very nice and big. Breakfast was OK, though we had to ask for a few extra things ourselves when I’d expected the servers to offer them. Coming from some very nice places before, our standards were probably high, but there were a few disappointments: the rooms were small, and the girls’ shower looked quite old and not very clean. The owner’s welcome was brief, even a bit abrupt, and it was strange that we couldn’t stay longer by the pool on departure day. It wasn’t bad, just not a place where everything is done for guests. More for one or two nights while passing through.

The staff were lovely, and Fabio communicated well. I also really liked the pool and the beautiful shared area where breakfast was served. The rooms felt very dated for the price, though, and you'll need a rental car since it's not near the main roads.

I could have stayed there forever, sitting by the pool among the trees with a glass of wine and watching the stars. It's a beautiful hotel with a stunning view and fantastic staff. Thanks to everyone, especially Fabio. I'll definitely come back.

Quiet and very private, with friendly staff. The place looks amazing, and the lemon trees smell so sweet everywhere you walk. For a hike, make sure you visit Laghetti Cavagrande and take the closed route Scale Ricci.
