Apt A - Wellness House Galilei Apartments

The terrace had a poor view and the surrounding area felt somewhat run-down. Inside, the bedroom wardrobe was old wood with a bad smell, so we couldn't use it. Cleanliness was mediocre, and the plastic wellness shower creaked. There aren't any proper common areas: just a tiny, hot kitchen without air conditioning and an uncovered terrace that's unusable in the sun. To reach the house, you have to use a very narrow, claustrophobic staircase. A locked door connects to another apartment, which still didn't make us feel secure.

There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a fully equipped kitchen in Gioacchino's house. It's on the first floor of a building in central Avola, a convenient spot for the beaches along the coast. The large terrace is a nice feature, and the bathroom is spacious, with a roomy shower that has a hydromassage option.

The owner's availability was a real plus. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and we liked the location too. We spent a week in this lovely, spacious apartment, which had every comfort. We'd highly recommend it.

I couldn't wait to leave the Wellness House Galilei 9-sleeps apartment - Apt E. For all four days, I slept with the smell of mold around me. The shower was broken and missing its door, so water got all over the bathroom and made it even more humid. There was mold on both the coffee maker and the pan, and the pillow was soaked with someone else's sweat. The photos I took are the bare minimum of decency I was willing to show. 😑
