The owners really make you feel at home in Sicily. If you'd like some distance from the busy tourist spots while still being able to reach places like Siracusa, Ragusa, Modica, and Noto easily, this locanda is ideal. You can relax by the pool, order wine and dinner, and enjoy the surrounding nature. Maria asks what you'd like for breakfast, and you can be sure to try local specialties. The rooms are a good size, with good air conditioning and excellent water pressure. There's parking right in front, so you can feel at ease about your car. The owners also pointed us to a great pizzeria. They were always happy to chat, share advice, and give us information about local sights. The food was lovely too. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back ❤️

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of June 2023 and had a lovely time. The room was clean and very quiet, and the location was lovely too. The pool was cleaned every day, and guests can eat at the restaurant, which uses local ingredients. Breakfast was generous and tasty, made to suit our preferences for both sweet and savory food. The owners were very nice and helpful, and we'd gladly stay here again. There's plenty to see around the area, though having a car is best.

We had a lovely meal at Locanda Marta on 19 June 2024. The owners were warm and easy to talk to, and every dish was just right from beginning to end. For a real taste of Sicily and genuinely welcoming hosts, this place is an easy recommendation. 10/10, and we’ll be back and tell others about it.

The homemade cannoli with sweet ricotta were a delicious finish, and the Casarecce pasta all trapanese was just as good. We started with antipasti, and the owner and his wife, who cooked our food, gave us lovely service. We were told booking is usually a good idea, though it was fairly quiet at lunchtime on a midweek day in June. A great traditional meal in the hills above Avola, highly recommend.
