We loved our stay so much that we added a couple of nights. The first-floor apartment was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was good quality and worked. From the balcony we could see the pool, garden, and sea. The large private pool was clean, with comfortable loungers, an outdoor shower, and a bathroom. The villa grounds were beautifully maintained, and there was a private covered parking spot inside the secure grounds. The owners live on the ground floor and made us feel very welcome. They were quick to answer questions and share local knowledge, and went out of their way to help with a couple of unusual requests. We were travelling by motorbike and needed tools. The villa was stunning, a real gem, and exactly as described. The sea was a five-minute walk away. The marina was about 20 minutes on foot, with a lively atmosphere and plenty of restaurants along the purpose-built waterfront promenade. It was everything we wanted and more. We'd return in a heartbeat and have no hesitation recommending it.

We spent four days at this beautiful villa with our three children. The pool is fantastic, and there's a big garden around it. The apartments are lovely, quiet, and well equipped. We even had a washing machine, which came in handy for beach towels and clothes. Avola itself, including the sea and nearby beaches, isn't especially interesting, but the villa is a great base for visiting the stunning sights nearby: Noto and the other Baroque towns, Marzamemi, and the unexpectedly beautiful Vendicari beach. There were two downsides. One morning the water was off, so they had to draw it from a private well. Also, the birds nesting on the roof make a real mess, especially on the terraces and in the shared breakfast area, including on the tables.

We slept really well, with no noise at night, and would gladly return after our week here. The owners were extremely helpful, and it felt like a perfect place for families. Our apartment had a wonderful hot tub in the bedroom and was fully equipped. The pool was lovely, and the shared area was spacious, with a barbecue and even games for children.

The apartments are comfortable and have all the amenities you need. It’s a relaxing place to stay, with a pool and a large, well-kept garden where you can sunbathe or find shade under the palms. A range of beaches with facilities for different tastes is only a five-minute drive away.
