Villa Santa Barbara

A lovely place to stay in Avola, though the beds and location could be improved. Barbara, the villa's owner, was a delight. She made us an amazing cake at the start of our trip, and her mother baked really delicious pizzas on our last day. I recommend it!

Fantastic apartment, and such a kind host!

The little touches made the house feel like home straight away: it had everything from a coffee maker and kettle to a blender, washing machine and even dish soap. The place is spacious, bright and well equipped, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. What made it especially memorable was Barbara. During our week, she brought us homemade pizza and a freshly baked ring cake for the kids. Those thoughtful gestures made our family feel so welcome and cared for. Villa Santa Barbara was more than a holiday rental for us, it became a real life experience and a memory we'll treasure. You get comfort and attentive service, but also warmth, smiles and genuine feeling. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Sicily with the sense that a family is waiting to welcome you back.
