Parking was easy for us, with free street spaces near the hotel or an underground spot for about €10 a night. It’s roughly a 10-minute walk to the ski gondola. The hotel has a ski and boot room, though we left our gear overnight at a rental shop by the gondola for €5 per night. Before we arrived, the hotel kept in touch well, and everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight: lots of local produce, fresh pastries, bacon and eggs cooked fresh, and Italian coffee brought out by cheerful staff.

Booking directly with the hotel can save you some money. The ski lift is about 500 metres away, and the sauna and jacuzzi were great. The reception staff were lovely, the room was good, and there was a nice choice at breakfast. That breakfast was phenomenal, I still miss it.

A friendly family-run place, with a really extensive patisserie and hot chocolate menu. Breakfast had hot and cold choices, plus plenty of brioche and cakes. There’s a great dryer for ski boots in the ski deposit and garage. I did wish they had a restaurant for dinner.
