The hotel itself felt cosy, though it’s quite dated. We had a very different experience at the restaurant. Our group of eight arrived at 8 pm, when it was busy but looked inviting, and ordered sea bass with mashed potatoes, carbonara and soup. We waited until 10 pm, watching other guests leave without being served, and had to ask the waitress several times before our food arrived. The pasta was cold, the sea bass came without the mashed potatoes or any sauce, and the soup still hadn’t arrived. Ten minutes later we asked about it. What came out looked more like a slice of pie or toast than a liquid soup. When we raised this, the waitress said, “This is how our soup looks like...” We were shocked and asked for a replacement. The next soup seemed okay. We weren’t charged for the disaster, but I’d stay away from the restaurant.

The hotel is well looked after, though the rooms are quite small. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and it’s close to the ski slopes and ski rental. I liked the place.
