Breakfast was a lovely way to start each day. The place itself is cozy and well kept, and the owner is incredibly friendly. A wonderful little refuge, highly recommended.

The views of Cervino / Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains were fantastic, and we’d love to return in summer. We came for ski mountaineering, though the snow was very poor, and our stay at VieuxCrest still made the trip memorable. There were six of us for three nights, from December 29 2023 to January 1 2024. The team was always keen to make guests happy. We had excellent, varied dinners, wonderful breakfasts, and a five-course New Year’s Eve meal that ended outside by the fountain with fireworks and sparkling wine. The people here are about as nice as you could imagine, and the food is really good. For the service you get, the price is very good too. I highly recommend it.
