Agriturismo l'Adagio

We had a brilliant two weeks at L'adagio and enjoyed being there a lot. The pool, garden, and lit terrace made it easy to unwind, and the rooms were stylish, cozy, and very clean. We never heard the neighbors, either. The kitchen had everything we needed, so we cooked some evenings and felt comfortable doing it. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty for three people. The fridge was regularly stocked with fresh milk, yogurt, and water. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We used the garden grill too, though finer chopped wood would make it better. You do need a car, but there are lots of small villages, restaurants, and hiking in the mountains within a 15 to 30 minute drive in different directions. The beach is about 20 minutes away. We recommend Bussana (Il Sesstante). This is a charming, elegant, family-run place with a history, and it was spotless. Rosella and her team were always ready to help. Badalucco is a great base for swimming, hill walks, good food, quiet, and visits to little Italian villages. Thanks, Rossella, and cheers to the team. We'll meet again in April 2024! The view from our window over the town and river was breathtaking, and the gardens and terrace were peaceful and charming. We stayed in the Acqua room, which was thoughtfully decorated around its theme. Local treats were included in the mini-fridge, and fresh pastries arrived at the door in the morning for breakfast in the room. The spa was spotless and serene, with enough facilities for a relaxing half-day. The sauna was our favorite, especially the cold-water bucket hanging from the ceiling that you pull by a chain for a bracing rinse. We also got a tour of the olive oil museum and heard about the building's history in olive oil production. Olio Roi, where the family now harvests and makes olive oil, is just a five-minute walk across the river. Rosella and her family offer wonderful hospitality and lovely accommodations in this medieval village. I can't recommend it enough. It was one of the most perfect days I've ever had.

We had a lovely stay, and our little private yard was a real treat. Just a note, not every room has one. The spa felt a bit expensive for just the hot tub and sauna, with nothing else there, but the stay was still really nice. Thank you!

We stayed here with our little 8-month-old, and the people are what made it special. Daria and Rossella were flexible, generous, kind, and friendly, and gave us such personal, great service.
