Dolomites Hotel La Fradora

Impeccable really sums up our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a wonderful view, and everything was at its best, from the food and cleanliness to the service. All the staff were a 10, especially Michele, the best waiter I’ve met. We’ll definitely come back and spend all our ski holidays here!

We had great views, a great location among the best hikes, and great staff. We booked breakfast and dinner, and were pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of the food. Angelo deserves a shout-out too, he’s a nice guy who seems to know every language. I think we’ll miss him. A few things surprised us in this otherwise very nice hotel and kept us from giving it five stars. There was no refrigerator, and we couldn’t use one anywhere, so we had no way to keep wine or food we bought. No conditioner or body wash was provided, and there wasn’t a proper place for bar soap in the shower. It sat on a slatted shelf and fell through onto the floor. The only blankets were two separate comforters, none big enough for a couple. We were charged for using robes, the wine opener, and wine glasses, without being told at the time that these would cost extra.

The location works well for skiing or hiking, just a minute’s drive from Piz Sorega, and the hotel runs a free shuttle every five minutes. It’s a beautiful spot in the dolomites. The hotel itself has modern decor and was spotless, with three different saunas and an outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and dinner was very, very good. The service was excellent, with everyone polite and ready to help.

Everything you could want for a relaxing holiday: a fantastic skiing area for families and recreational skiers, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, and a brilliant location. Highly recommend!
