Garni Miriam

Everything about the stay worked well, from the clean rooms and comfortable setup to the service and the communication before we arrived. It’s a ski-out, walk-in place, with about a 300-meter walk back from the slope at the end of the day in ski boots. I expected that to be a pain, but it was actually fine. A bit more choice at breakfast would’ve been nice, though I’d still give it five stars.

Michael was a great host, friendly and always working hard to help. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. It’s in a lovely spot with beautiful views around La Villa. Depending on the snow, you can ski close to the lift starting point or take a short walk.

The bike setup was especially useful during Maratona dles Dolomities week: there’s a large monitored storage area, access is limited to guests with a hotel card, and every bike has its own lock. I stayed for a week, and it was my first time at this accommodation. La Villa is a beautiful natural setting and a good base for cycling, with Garni Miriam in a peaceful spot just a few minutes on foot from the center and close to the race start. The whole house and rooms were very clean. Michael was friendly, helpful, and around whenever we needed advice. Breakfast was excellent, and there’s also a bar with a decent choice of drinks and food. Great value, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve now stayed here two years in a row, and it’s a handy base for the whole Super Dolomiti Ski complex. The lifts are around a hundred meters away, reachable on foot or on skis. The house sits in a quiet, attractive spot a few minutes’ walk from the center, with a lovely view across the valley and village. Rooms and apartments are comfortable, and the entire place is impeccably clean. The host is always available if you need help or advice. Breakfast is excellent, and there’s a bar with a decent selection of food and drinks. Good value for money. We’ll be back.
