Hotel Falzares

We were very happy with the value for money here. The hotel is well looked after, and our spacious, very clean room had a balcony. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and good quality, and the restaurant food was just as good. Nadin and Matteo were professional, kind and always available. There is a convenient, well-maintained covered garage as well. The Piz Sorega cable car is about a 10-minute walk away. We found the walk pleasant both before and after skiing, and it goes through the town center, so you can shop on the way without doubling back to the hotel. We rented ski storage beneath the cable car. If we're back in San Cassiano, we know where to book. Congratulations to everyone.

The breakfast buffet was a real treat, with lots of choice and very high-quality food. Service on site was excellent, and we got a very friendly welcome. Underground parking is available, with an electric car charging station expected soon. A true gem, and highly recommended.

The wellness area is clean and has a sauna, Turkish bath, showers and a relaxation room with a waterbed. There are also two private whirlpool tubs, operated with coins, and the water is changed and the tubs cleaned after each use. Outdoor parking is free, and the hotel is right in the town center. It's a 10-minute walk to the Piz Sorega cable car, which can feel long in ski boots while carrying skis. I'd suggest buying a ski box on the Golden Eagle Ski slopes. The food is varied and excellent, with several Ladin options. The style is classic mountain, not modern, and the value is very good. They also accept stays shorter than a week.

We stayed December 17th to 22nd. Thanks to the agreement with Dolomiti Superski, the owner charged us for four nights rather than five. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was plentiful. Dinner includes a buffet of appetizers, a choice of three first courses and three second courses, plus dessert. Guests can use the wellness area with its Turkish bath, sauna and hot tubs for free. Parking is available beneath the hotel for a fee, or free outside. The hotel is central, about a five-minute walk from the Piz Sorega cable car. Highly recommended.
