Hotel Gardenazza

The four-course dinners were a real standout, made with local ingredients, and the waiting staff were exceptionally nice. They also make their own beer. It's a family-run place with an attentive host, a small wellness area and sauna. Our room wasn't huge, but it was cozy and comfortable. There was even a special evening with drinks and pizza. The location is handy for the slopes, and the hotel shuttle runs frequently, opening up plenty of options around Alta Badia and the connected Sella Ronda without taking your skis off. I imagine it would work well for summer hiking too. Glad we stayed here.

Christmas here was especially lovely, with a cozy, elegant feel and authentic alpine charm. Our room was comfortable, the common spaces were inviting, and the service stayed attentive and kind. The food deserves special praise: every meal felt like a highlight, with refined flavors, lovely presentation and well-balanced dishes. The kitchen showed quality, creativity and precision that we felt was worthy of a Michelin-star standard. We spent a beautiful week at Hotel Gardenazza, and the owners made a big impression with their passion, presence and attention to detail. Their warmth and care made the place feel both professional and heartfelt. It was a memorable, deeply relaxing Christmas, and we'd be delighted to return.

The hotel shuttle van to the ski resort ran frequently, and we were glad to use it. It was also a big plus that we could charge our electric car at a reasonable price. The food was excellent, and I'd definitely book dinner. The staff were very friendly, and the owner always made time for a pleasant chat. We felt right at home at Hotel Gardenazza and will certainly return.

We were a group of eight with a six-month-old baby, and our four-night stay couldn't have been more pleasant. The owner and staff were always around, incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate what we needed, especially with the baby. The hotel felt cozy and clean, with a lot of attention to detail. It's well placed for the nearby ski areas. Breakfast is a good self-service spread, and I'd recommend adding dinner too. It's served at the table and feels like a fancy restaurant. I'd recommend staying here whatever your travel circumstances.
