Hotel Serena

We had excellent breakfasts and dinners, and everyone we dealt with, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team, was professional and lovely. The hotel feels high quality throughout, from its location to the fixtures and fittings. My wife and I stayed for ten nights from late August 2022, and it’s a stunning place in a stunning setting. We usually go to bed around 9:30 pm, so at first we noticed some sound coming from rooms and balconies above us. The building has a lot of wood, but the noise stopped bothering us once we started staying up later. Thank you to the whole team. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The mountain views and indoor pool were lovely, and the spa hotel itself was nice. Breakfast was standard, but the restaurant food didn’t feel worth the price. Our room for two was small. One bed was good, while the other was short and really uncomfortable. The cleaning also wasn’t thorough, with dust in the corners and what looked like a quick wipe-down.

For skiing in the Dolomites, especially Alta Badia, Hotel Serena is where I’d stay. It’s family run, with amazing hosts and food, plus a beautiful full spa. There’s also free parking, a ski shuttle, and a cafe and bar on site. What else do you need?

Dinner was fantastic, breakfast had a really good buffet, and the staff were polite. The wellness area is very nice, with a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, and a large pool. The hotel is comfortable and just a few hundred meters from the Santa Croce slopes and the connecting chairlift to Alta Badia on the Dolomiti Superki.
