The owner was warm and courteous, and the location is excellent. My night was quiet, and the street noise barely came through the room, which was spacious. The bed was comfortable too. The bathroom looked clean, though it was dated, had broken tiles, and the showerhead was missing. There were cobwebs all over, a bad smell, and an empty beer bottle stuck on a shelf behind a door, beside a worn-out sponge. I shut it right away. The room may not have been properly equipped for guests, but despite those flaws, I slept well.

Dinner was good, and the rooms were clean. Service wasn't perfect, though the price was excellent.
