The restaurant team really stood out to me. They were warm, always smiling, and happy to help, greeting guests when they arrived and left. Staff at other hotels have been polite, but these people are at the top of my list. Our room was clean, and the bed linen was changed every day. We spent five nights here, and there were some drawbacks too. The hotel is very close to the airport, which is handy but can be noisy if you're a light sleeper. Renovations to the hotel and air conditioning system meant the air conditioning wasn't working. During a rainy week with cooler temperatures, that was a big problem. I was also surprised to find only a shower head in the bathroom, with no shower handset. When we turned up the water temperature, the pressure dropped and barely any water came out.

The biggest problem is the location. Public transport doesn't run here, so without a car it's hard to get around. A taxi from the airport or Bergamo costs €50-60, and Uber isn't an option. The hotel shuttle to the airport is a nice touch at €5 per person, but it only runs in the morning and only from the hotel to the airport. The hotel itself was fine. The staff were very professional and friendly, the bed was large, and everything in the bathroom worked. There's a lobby bar for drinks or snacks until midnight. Breakfast was like what's served at Italian tourist hotels, with very poor-quality food and instant coffee. The only ground coffee was espresso. The 0.5-liter bottle of water in the room was provided just for the first night and wasn't replaced during a longer stay. Sometimes there was a terrible smell outside in the evening, so we couldn't open the window.

Breakfast had a great range of choices. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything a guest could need. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The hotel itself is good. Getting there by public transport, though, is very difficult.

The room felt dated, the food was inedible, and the service was terrible. There was no atmosphere, and no bar, just drinks served at reception. Absolutely awful. I wouldn't stay here again.
