Giorgio is so welcoming, and his place is clean and genuine. We found the kitchen well equipped, the bathrooms neat and clean, and breakfast plentiful, with Giorgio happy to accommodate what we needed. Even during a heat spell, the temperature felt just right and we didn’t miss air conditioning. Don’t miss the spa! The village is exquisite and beautiful, and staying here feels like being transported to another time.

We spent 9 of our 10 days at La Margine in Casoli, Tuscany, Italy enjoying ourselves. Georgio was such a kind, friendly host and helped us find great places to visit, eat, and explore. Our room looked out through its windows onto the mountain forest, which made it feel so peaceful. The accommodation was spotless and decorated with lovely details from Italian country life. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with homemade jams from local forest fruit, cakes, and pies. We loved the charming villages around us, especially Barga and Montefegatesi, both with their own lovely sights and experiences. Just 20 steps from La Margine, there’s a wonderful local restaurant where the food was delicious. We highly recommend staying here for an authentic Italian countryside getaway. Georgio’s hospitality and the beautiful setting made the trip memorable, and we can’t wait to come back. Thanks for such a memorable stay!

Giorgio was thoughtful and charming, taking time to answer our questions and making us feel at home. We had an incredible view from our bedroom in every direction. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was easy to use. Breakfast was very satisfying, with plenty of homemade food, and the coffee was outstanding.

We got here through a smartbox. If you’re thinking of turning back halfway up the hill to Casoli, keep going to the top, park in the little square, and knock on Giorgio's door. That’s where our journey back in time began. Everything had been prepared with such care and warmth. Giorgio is a wonderful, friendly host and a great cook. We’ll definitely return, and next time we’ll learn to play Burraco. Thank you, Giorgio, and thanks to all 26 residents of the village. Unforgettable.

We used a Smartbox package for our stay at this B&B, where Mr. Gianni was very kind and helpful. It’s a quiet place, and the apartment was warm and comfortable. We also tried the small spa, which has no tub but does have everything needed for a relaxing break. Dinner at the B&B was excellent: local products for the appetizer, delicious desserts, and really good maltagliati with wild boar ragù. Thank you 🥰 The couple with their little girl were heading to Pisa ☺️
